Last Wednesday students competed at the UIL Regional Congress Meet. Chadwick Browning placed first, Carson Posey placed second, and Ashton Arizmendi placed third. They will be advancing to the State competition held in Austin in January and will be accompanied by Reagan Trujillo as the alternate for our region.
This Saturday the Speech and Debate team traveled to San Angelo to compete at Central High School's annual tournament where Yasmin Thamez advanced to the semi-finals in Lincoln-Douglas debate. Her top-four finish also resulted in her earning the remaining qualifying points needed under the Texas Forensics Association to earn a qualification for the TFA State tournament.
Congratulations and good luck!

Mrs. Greene’s and Ms. Herrera’s classes are thankful for a beautiful day to take a field trip to Frontier Texas to learn all about the history of the white Buffalo. 🤍🦬

We love having guest chefs in the Snyder High School Culinary Arts kitchen. Coach Kruse stopped by recently to teach the kids how to make pumpkin rolls! Some of you may have enjoyed this fall treat before when she ran the diner. 😉

Second graders turned ordinary objects and shapes into extraordinary artwork through stamping! This is a fun and inexpensive project you can do with your kids at home, too!
1. Gather a variety of objects of different shapes and sizes.
2. Dip the object into the paint of your choice, covering the bottom evenly.
3. Press the object onto a piece of paper, fabric, or other surface, using gentle pressure to create the stamp.
4. Repeat the process with different colors and objects to create patterns and designs.
Allow the artwork to dry completely before displaying or using it in other projects.
