Following Board approval, Jaime Miller has been named Assistant Superintendent for the 2026–2027 school year, reinforcing the district’s commitment to strong instructional practices, cohesive systems, and meaningful support for students.
Miller brings more than 25 years of experience in education, including roles as a classroom teacher, campus principal, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and most recently Chief of Human Capital and Talent Development.
She holds a Master of Arts in Literacy from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Hardin-Simmons University.
Her career reflects a deep commitment to strengthening instruction and improving outcomes for students. She has direct experience with high-quality instructional materials, strong Tier 1 instruction, and building aligned systems through professional learning communities, professional development, and data-driven practices, allowing for immediate alignment and continuity with the work underway in Snyder ISD.
Miller has demonstrated success in leading districtwide improvement efforts, including strengthening instructional frameworks, increasing student performance, and aligning strategic plans to board priorities. Her ability to connect vision, strategy, and execution will be critical in this role.
Throughout the interview process, she emphasized a balanced approach that is “data driven but student informed,” prioritizing both measurable outcomes and the needs of students.
“Jaime Miller’s combination of instructional expertise, campus leadership, and system-level experience makes her exceptionally well-positioned to serve Snyder ISD,” said Dr. Jessica Gore, Superintendent of Snyder ISD. “She understands how to turn vision into action and has a proven record of improving outcomes for students.”

Fellows holds a Master of Education as an Educational Diagnostician and a Bachelor of Arts, both from Sul Ross State University.
Currently serving as a campus principal, Fellows understands firsthand the importance of supporting campus leaders and aligning district systems to meet campus-level needs. This perspective is essential for a role that must directly partner with principals to ensure effective implementation of special education services.
As a campus leader, Fellows has focused on strengthening instruction, improving attendance, and implementing targeted interventions that have led to measurable gains in reading and math. She also brings experience building and supporting MTSS frameworks, which directly aligns with the district’s priority to launch and strengthen MTSS in the coming year. Her ability to use data, monitor progress, and drive targeted interventions positions her well to lead this work at a systems level.
Fellows is known for a balanced leadership approach. She works alongside teams to build capacity while also ensuring compliance, coherence, and accountability across systems and practices.
“Sandra Fellows brings a unique combination of special education expertise and campus leadership,” said Dr. Jessica Gore, Superintendent of Snyder ISD. “Her experience will help strengthen systems, support campuses, and improve outcomes for all learners.”

While much of their work happens "behind the scenes," their impact is seen in every hallway, classroom, and student success story across our district. From navigating logistics to supporting teachers and mentoring students, these leaders are the backbone of our schools.
