All extracurricular activities and events are also cancelled.
At this time, we do not anticipate the need to make up this instructional day. We will continue to monitor conditions and share updates through ParentSquare, the district website, social media, and area news agencies.

Resources
As the winter weather continues, the Office of Emergency Management has opened several warming centers that will remain available throughout the storm:
Scurry County Library
1916 23rd St
Hermleigh Community Center
700 Wheat St
Overnight accommodations may be available on a case by case basis by contacting the Office of Emergency Management at 325-573-6215.
Some local churches and community organizations have also opened their doors to provide additional warm spaces overnight. These locations are not official emergency shelters through the Office of Emergency Management and are staffed and managed independently by volunteers.
A list of local resources available in the community can be found on our website: https://www.snyderisd.net/page/communityresources
If you or someone you know needs help navigating available resources or support, the Snyder Community Resource Center is available at 325-436-0294.
Please take care of yourselves and one another. We are thinking of our Tiger families and hoping everyone stays safe, warm, and well.
