The Snyder High School Pride of the West Marching Band has earned straight Superior ratings at the 2026 UIL Region 6 East Zone Marching Contest, securing a spot in the UIL Area A 4A Marching Contest.
Superior is the highest rating awarded at the regional contest, reflecting the dedication, preparation, and hard work of Snyder's student musicians and band directors throughout the marching season.
The Pride of the West will compete in the preliminary round of the UIL Area A 4A Marching Contest on Saturday, October 31, at 3:45 p.m. at Dick Bivins Stadium in Amarillo.
Bands earning qualifying scores in the preliminary round will advance to the finals that evening, where they will compete for an opportunity to advance to the UIL State Marching Contest.
Snyder ISD encourages families, alumni, and community members to make the trip to Amarillo and cheer on the Pride of the West as they represent Snyder on the area stage.
