Snyder Tiger Athletics Update

Snyder Tiger Athletics is about more than competition. Our goal is to develop well-rounded student-athletes who learn valuable lessons through athletics, in the classroom, and as members of their community.
As practices begin for the 2026–2027 school year, students interested in participating should review the following information:
Tennis
Tennis practice began July 27. Students who are still interested in joining the Snyder High School tennis program should speak with Coach Hale.
Volleyball
The Lady Tigers opened the 2026 season with Midnight Madness on August 1. Students interested in playing volleyball should speak with Coach Fellows.
Football
High school football two-a-day practices begin Monday, August 3, at 6:00 a.m. Students interested in playing football should speak with Coach Gonzales.
Cross Country
High school and junior high cross country practices begin Monday, August 3. Students interested in participating should speak with Coach Campbell.
Requirements for Student-Athletes
All junior high and high school student-athletes must be compliant in Rank One before participating. This includes:
A current athletic physical
All required Rank One forms completed and signed
ImPACT testing completed, when required
Junior High Athletic practices will begin when school starts. More information will come soon.
