Snyder ISD students in grades 6–12 are invited to apply for the district’s 2026–2027 Student Ambassador Committee.
The committee will give students a direct opportunity to meet with district leaders, share their perspectives, identify challenges and opportunities, and help develop practical solutions that make a meaningful difference across Snyder ISD.
Through consistent participation, thoughtful conversations, and a shared focus on solutions, student ambassadors will help the district make steady progress while building relationships, strengthening leadership skills, and enjoying the experience of working together toward a common goal.
Student ambassadors will meet once each month from September through May. During each meeting, students will examine issues from different perspectives and work together to turn concerns into constructive ideas.
The district is looking for students who listen well, communicate respectfully, think beyond their own experiences, and are willing to contribute to the work of improving their schools.
Students do not need to be the loudest voice in the room or already hold a formal leadership position. Snyder ISD hopes to create a committee that reflects a variety of grades, interests, experiences, and perspectives from across the district..
Applications must be submitted by 8:00 a.m. Monday, August 17, 2026.
