Snyder ISD is grateful to the City of Snyder for recognizing the creativity, leadership, and community spirit of our Snyder Intermediate students through the dedication of the new STEAM Rock Garden at Downtown Plaza/Pocket Park.

Mayor Stephanie Ducheneaux officially dedicated the project, and City Manager Eli Torres shared appreciation for the students’ contributions to a space that will be enjoyed by residents and visitors for years to come.

This project is a beautiful reminder that students can make a real difference in their community. Whether big or small, their ideas, effort, and creativity can help make Snyder a more welcoming and vibrant place for everyone.

We also want to thank Snyder Intermediate STEAM teacher Carolyn Torres for leading and inspiring this work. Her guidance helped students turn creativity into a lasting contribution to our community.

Thank you to the City of Snyder, our students, teachers, and everyone who helped bring this project to life. We encourage families to stop by Downtown Plaza/Pocket Park and see this special addition to our community.
