While students are away for the summer, important work continues across Snyder ISD.
Throughout the district, crews are completing repairs, updates, preventative maintenance, and facility improvement projects. Some projects are handled by our Maintenance and Operations team, while others require outside support. As budget allows, Snyder ISD is tackling projects both large and small to help keep facilities safe, clean, and ready for students and staff.
Whenever possible, the district also works with local companies to complete specialized projects. These partnerships allow Snyder ISD to bring in the right expertise while supporting businesses in our own community.
At Snyder Primary School, Snyder ISD is working with West Texas Insulation + Duct Cleaning to clean ductwork and improve air circulation. This important preventative maintenance supports a cleaner, healthier learning environment for students and staff.
At Snyder Intermediate School, the district is working with local company Wall Construction Company to address deteriorating concrete near the campus entrance. The area had become both a trip hazard and an eyesore. This project is one of several concrete repair needs identified across the district, and additional projects will be spaced out as the budget allows.
These summer projects are part of Snyder ISD’s ongoing effort to care for district facilities responsibly and thoughtfully. Step by step, our Maintenance and Operations team, along with trusted local partners, is working behind the scenes to build a better tomorrow for students, staff, and families.
