Congratulations to the following employees for being named Snyder ISD’s Employees of the Month for April! These individuals were nominated by their peers and affirmed by their principals and supervisors as team members who help make Snyder ISD a great place to learn and work each day.
Bailey Bailey- High School
Bailey Bailey is so awesome, you have to say her name twice! She leads the English Department with kindness, grace, and a quiet strength that makes a lasting impact on both students and staff. Behind the scenes, Bailey helps plan and implement events at the high school, often without seeking recognition or attention. She is always cheering others on, supporting her colleagues, and helping create a positive campus culture. Her students love her, and they often speak highly of what they have learned in her class. Bailey is a wonderful teacher with a heart of gold, and we are proud to recognize her as Employee of the Month.
Carolyn Torres- Intermediate School
Mrs. Torres does an outstanding job connecting SIS to the community. Through STEAM Club, Carolyn creates projects and programs that tie into festivals, community days, and other events throughout the school year. She consistently goes above and beyond to connect classroom learning to real-life situations, helping students see how their work can apply to future trades, careers, and entrepreneurship.
Mrs. Torres also builds strong connections with her peers. As a veteran teacher, she is a wealth of knowledge and support for those around her. Her dedication, experience, and commitment to students make her invaluable to our campus, and we are proud to recognize Mrs. Torres as Employee of the Month.
Jared White- Junior High Assistant Principal
Jared White, Assistant Principal at Snyder Junior High, is a dependable leader who consistently goes above and beyond for students, staff, and the district. He did an outstanding job coordinating and supporting STAAR testing, ensuring the campus was organized, prepared, and ready each day. He also does a great job communicating school activities and expectations through announcements, helping keep students and staff informed.
Mr. White is always available to address concerns, handle issues promptly, and provide support wherever needed. His willingness to help extends beyond his own campus, including routinely covering and assisting at the Intermediate campus. His organization, reliability, and servant-minded leadership make him a valuable part of Snyder ISD, and we are proud to recognize him as Employee of the Month.
Shasta Blay- Operations
Shasta Blay is an exceptionally hardworking and dedicated member of our Operations team who takes great pride in her work. She consistently goes above and beyond expectations, often arriving early and staying late to ensure every vehicle is thoroughly cleaned, prepared, and ready for the road.
Her commitment, reliability, and strong work ethic do not go unnoticed. Shasta’s dedication helps keep our district running smoothly and safely, and she is a valuable part of the Snyder ISD team. We are proud to recognize Shasta Blay as Employee of the Month.
