Snyder Independent School District has announced several leadership updates, staff additions, and coaching hires for the 2026–2027 school year, reinforcing the district’s focus on strong instructional systems, student support, and program growth.
Jaime Miller Named Assistant Superintendent
Jaime Miller will serve as Assistant Superintendent, bringing more than 25 years of experience in education. Her background includes roles as a classroom teacher, campus principal, Executive Director of Curriculum and Instruction, and Chief of Human Capital and Talent Development.
She holds a Master of Arts in Literacy from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin and a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science from Hardin-Simmons University. Miller has led districtwide efforts to strengthen instructional frameworks, expand Advanced Placement success, and build systems that support teacher development and student outcomes.
Sandra Fellows Named Director of Special Education
Sandra Fellows will serve as Director of Special Education. She brings experience as a classroom teacher, ARD facilitator, educational diagnostician, and junior high principal.
Her work has included strengthening MTSS frameworks, ensuring compliance, and aligning district systems to better support campuses and individual student needs.
Starla Gonzalez Named Coordinator of Special Education
Starla Gonzalez will serve as Coordinator of Special Education. A homegrown leader, she brings strong relationships across the district and a deep understanding of the community.
She will focus on strengthening systems, supporting professional development, and ensuring alignment of practices across campuses.
Bobbie Hale Joins Snyder High School as Counselor
Snyder ISD has welcomed Mrs. Bobbie Hale as a counselor at Snyder High School. She brings more than 25 years of experience in teaching and comprehensive school counseling.
A Snyder High School graduate, Hale began her career in Snyder ISD in 1995 and has since served in surrounding districts. She holds a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Angelo State University and a Bachelor of Arts from Tarleton State University.
Her experience includes college, career, and military readiness, dual credit support, FAFSA completion, and scholarship guidance. She is known for building strong relationships and supporting students both academically and personally.
Megan Fellows Named Head Volleyball Coach
Megan Fellows has been named Head Volleyball Coach at Snyder High School. She currently teaches 7th grade English at Snyder Junior High and will teach 6th grade science next year.
Fellows holds a degree in Education from the University of Minnesota, Morris, and brings nearly a decade of teaching experience. Her coaching background includes volleyball, basketball, track, and softball.
While at Alpine ISD, she led her team to a district and bi-district championship and a playoff appearance. Her approach emphasizes discipline, competitiveness, and student growth.
Hayley Humphery Returns to Snyder ISD
Snyder High School has welcomed Hayley Humphery as a Varsity Assistant Volleyball Coach and Special Education Inclusion teacher.
A Snyder graduate, Humphery will complete her degrees in Business Management, Business Marketing, and Sport Management from Buena Vista University in May 2026.
She brings experience as a multi-sport athlete and junior high coach, along with a commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for students.
