Our students are visiting the Texas Mobile STEM Lab this week, and you’re invited to come see it for yourself at Snyder Intermediate Family Night this Thursday!
Now it’s your turn to see it in action.
📅 Snyder Intermediate Family Night
⏰ Thursday | 5:00–7:00 PM
📍 Snyder Intermediate School
This is a come-and-go event; STEM lab visits are on a 20-minute rotation
Families should check in at the school first, where you will receive important information about your child’s learning, have the opportunity to sign our STAAR encouragement poster, visit our own STEAM lab, and enjoy a few snacks before heading into the Texas Mobile STEM Lab.
In the video below, you’ll get a preview of what students are experiencing inside the lab. 5th grade students are working through the Engineering Design Process as they design a model barn that meets specific criteria and constraints. Students imagine solutions, plan their designs, build prototypes, test them, and improve their ideas along the way.
At the same time, 4th grade students are exploring electricity by building circuits and learning how different components connect to make a system work. We hope you’ll come experience the learning and join in the fun!
