SNYDER, TX — Twenty Snyder High School Band students competed at the UIL Solo and Ensemble Competition, earning multiple top ratings and advancing nine performers to the Texas State Solo and Ensemble Competition at the end of May.

To advance to State, a Class 1 Ensemble or a memorized Class 1 Solo must receive a Division 1 rating from the judge. Several Snyder High School musicians met that high standard. Earning a Division 1 rating reflects exceptional preparation, technical skill, and musicality.
