Snyder ISD is pleased to announce the hiring of Andrew Fellows as the district’s new Director of Operations. Fellows joins the district with a background in education, leadership, facility management, and campus support. His experience stretches across athletics, classroom teaching, and districtwide operations, giving him a deep understanding of how every part of a school system works together to serve students.
Fellows brings a genuine enthusiasm for building strong teams and working side by side with staff. He often describes his leadership style as hands-on, collaborative, and rooted in trust. He believes that when people feel supported and connected, they are able to give their best to students each day.
Before stepping into district leadership roles, Fellows spent years in the classroom and on the field as a teacher and coach. That experience continues to guide his work. He understands what teachers need to do their jobs well and how safe, functional, and dependable facilities can remove barriers to learning. His commitment to the student and teacher experience fuels his approach to operations.
“What impressed us most was Andrew’s ability to connect big picture planning with the daily work happening across our district. He values people, he values teamwork, and he understands what strong operations mean for students and staff,” said Superintendent of Schools Bob Rauch.
Fellows is relocating from McCamey, Texas, to Snyder and will be joined there by his wife, Megan, also an educator, and their three children. Their family shared that they are excited to join the community and proud to become Snyder Tigers.
Please join us in welcoming Andrew Fellows and his family to Snyder ISD. We look forward to the experience, teamwork, and leadership he brings to this important role.
