Snyder ISD is proud to recognize 30 outstanding educators who have earned a designation through the Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), a statewide program designed to reward highly effective teachers and help districts recruit and retain top talent. This year’s cohort includes 11 newly designated teachers and 6 educators who increased their designation level, resulting in a projected $524,326 in additional annual compensation.
TIA designations are awarded in three levels—Recognized, Exemplary, and Master—based on teacher performance, student growth, and teacher observation scores. These designations are accompanied by significant financial incentives. TIA funding was built into Texas state law as part of House Bill 3 during the 86th Texas Legislature. It is a Tier 1 allotment through the Foundation School Program (FSP), the system through which the state provides funding to districts.
“This is a celebration of excellence in the classroom,” said Superintendent Bob Rauch. “Each of these designations represents not only student success but the hard work, professionalism, and dedication of our teachers. We are proud of the progress we’re seeing and grateful to our educators who continue to raise the bar.”
