Wesley Bishop

Wesley Bishop 2008 Hall of Honor Inductee

Wesley Bishop graduated from Snyder High in 1970. During his time at SHS, Wesley was a standout baseball and basketball player for the Tigers. He was All-District and All-Area in both sports was named to the All-South Plains and All-West Texas teams in basketball and received the Robert Hobbs Memorial Most Valuable Player Award in baseball.

Wesley was a 4-year starter at 2nd base for Abilene Christian College and set single-season records for home runs and RBI and total bases.

After college, Bishop became the first director of Physical Therapy at Rolling Plains Hospital and has served there for over 30 years.
