Field Access

Field access will be strictly limited to participants and individuals essential to the game.

Sportsmanship

Snyder High School promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches, team representatives or fellow spectators will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition.

Instructions for All Athletes

  1. Schedule and get your REQUIRED physical ASAP

    • FREE physicals are available through Cogdell Family Clinic from May 1st-July 31st.

      You must have your medical physical BEFORE you participate in athletics.

    • Download and complete the UIL Pre-participation Physical Forms prior to your appointment. We also have copies available in the athletic office.

    • Who is required to get a physical?

      SJH & SHS Student-athletes, SHS Marching Band, SHS Cheer, and SJH & SHS Special Olympians must get a physical if they:

      • are new to the program

      • are an incoming 7th, 9th, or 11th grader

      • have a pre-existing medical condition

      • were injured since their last physical and required a doctor's release


        Student trainers are also required to obtain one physical while in high school.

    • If you have one from your previous school that is only one year old, please email a copy to the Athletics Secretary at athletics@snyderisd.net.

  1. Join Big Teams & Complete Online Forms: The parent/guardian AND the athlete need to join our online paperwork platform called BigTeams. There are 6 forms that are required to be filled out before August. The parent/guardian and athlete will both have a linked account with forms for each to sign. For this information, please email the Athletics Secretary at athletics@snyderisd.net.
