Dear Snyder Families and Staff,
The safety and wellbeing of our students and staff is our top priority. Due to a significant number of students and teachers absent with the flu and the National Weather Service’s prediction of inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, Snyder ISD has made the decision to close all schools and administration buildings on Wednesday, February 5th and Thursday, February 6th, 2020. In addition, all athletic and extracurricular activities/competitions — including before and after-school practices, rehearsals, and events — have been canceled for Wednesday and Thursday.
You can help us slow the spread of illness to teachers and students by:
Keeping children home until they are fever-free WITHOUT medication for 24 hours.
Keeping your children home if they are vomiting or have diarrhea. They may return 24 hours after symptoms have resolved.
Teaching your children to properly cover their coughs and sneezes and to wash their hands frequently.
Washing backpacks and jackets
Please stay warm, safe, and use this time to rest and recover.

La seguridad y bienestar de nuestros alumnos y personal es nuestra mayor prioridad. A causa de un gran número de alumnos y personal con que han estado ausentes por causa del flu, los pronósticos de los Servicios Nacionales de Clima pronosticando un clima inclemente y condiciones inseguras de carreteras, por lo tanto Snyder ISD ha tomado la decisión de cerrar las escuelas y oficinas de administración el Miércoles, 5 de Febrero y Jueves, 6 de Febrero del año 2020. Puede ayudarnos a detener un poco las enfermedades de los alumnos y maestros al hacer lo siguiente:
Mantener los alumnos en casa hasta que haya pasado 24 horas sin calentura sin algĂşn medicamento.
Mantener los alumnos en casa si están experimentando vĂłmito o diarrea. Alumnos pueden regresar a clases despuĂ©s de 24hrs que los sĂntomas hayan cesado.
Enseñando a los alumnos de cubrir su boca cuando tosen o estornudan, y lavar sus manos frecuentemente.
Lavar mochilas y chamarras frecuentemente.
Por favor manténgase abrigado, seguro y use este tiempo para descansar y recobrar fuerzas.
