Congratulations to the 2021 Snyder Independent School District Spelling Bee champion, Yasmin Thamez, an 8th grader at Snyder Junior High!
The runner-up is Anthony Vasquez, a 5th grader at Snyder Intermediate School.
Yasmin will advance to the Area Spelling Bee. This will be her second time to represent SISD at the area level! Anthony will serve as an alternate.
We also want to applaud all of the 3rd-8th grade contestants who participated in today’s District Bee. Preparing for a Spelling Bee is quite a commitment, requiring hours of studying on their own time.
