We plan to soar to new heights this year, and we need your help! Parents and their students are requested to attend the Tiger Take Off event at their child's school.

Families will have an opportunity to meet the staff and your teachers, check in with the nurse, get assistance with online registration verification, pay technology fees, and tour the campus. Additionally, class schedules and technology will be ready for pickup for junior high and high school students.  

FAST Pass

By popular demand, we will hold office hours July 22 - 31 for families to obtain a "fast pass." This will allow you to skip the line and head straight back to your child's classroom (or schedule and device pickup for junior high and high school students.)

Immunizations are required to come to public school.  To check what records we have on file:

1.  Log in to Skyward bit.ly/SISDSkyward

2. Select your student’s name from the top drop-down menu

3. Select "health info" in the left column.

4. View the vaccinations we have on record for your child and if any are out of compliance.  

Schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider or call the Scurry County Health Unit to make arrangements for needed vaccinations asap.

Sports Physicals

SJH & SHS Athletics, SJH & SHS Special Olympics, SHS Cheer, & SHS Marching Band

We are excited to offer a FREE On-Site Sports Physical Clinic in 2025!

• Attend the on-site sports physical clinic with Cogdell Memorial Hospital at Snyder High School (Physicals are FREE through this event)

  • Snyder Junior High Students: May 12th 6pm - 8pm (@ SHS Indoor Facility)

  • Snyder High School Students: May 21st 6pm - 8pm (@SHS Indoor Facility)

SJH & SHS ONLY: Submit Physicals & Online Paperwork by July 31

You MUST have BOTH an up-to-date Physical and your Online Rank One Forms completed before participating in summer strength and conditioning programs.

Students in grades K-12 will need to pay a technology fee at the beginning of each school year.  Each student in grades PreK-12 will be issued an electronic device to use during the school year. 

• 1 student $40 ($20)

• 2 students $ 60 ($30)

• 3 or more $70 ($35)

• 50% discount on fees available with completion of the Free & Reduced Lunch form, regardless of whether you qualify.
