Good afternoon SISD staff and families,
We are rapidly thawing out this afternoon; however, the National Weather Service predicts temperatures to be well below freezing tonight. Icy roads will most certainly be an issue tomorrow morning and the safety of our students and staff takes priority. Since Fridays are shortened instructional days, a late start isn't a reasonable option. Therefore, SISD will be closed tomorrow and will reopen on Monday, February 10th. At this time a decision has not been made about extra-curricular activities scheduled for Friday.
Stay safe, get well, and we will see everyone on Monday.

Snyder ISD has made the decision to close all schools and administration buildings on Wednesday, February 5th and Thursday, February 6th, 2020. In addition, all athletic and extracurricular activities/competitions โ including before and after-school practices, rehearsals, and events โ have been canceled for Wednesday and Thursday.

Jan. 30th Community Meeting Clarification:
Tonight's Meeting is a Potential Innovative Partner Presentations. An innovative partnership is an option we are exploring to assist SISD. Three companies have submitted applications and will present their ideas to the community. They will each speak for 30 minutes and will have a Q&A following. We look forward to you attendance.
