SHS Student Publications Department 11th Annual Coat/Toy Drive

It's that time of the year when everyone has a list of what they want, need, & desire. Least we forget of those that have lists which are never fulfilled! Something as simple as a warm jacket and a new toy will warm the hearts of those in need!
For the past 11 years, Diane Arnold and the SHS Student Publications Department have held a coat/toy drive. The numbers have fluctuated drastically over the years.
Last year 313 toys and 89 coats were collected and donated to Gateway Family Services. Please join us as we hope to double those numbers this year! Gently used, clean coats/jackets for all sizes and new toys for all ages will be accepted at the SHS glass office from not until December 5th. Please give.

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year To "Make" Some Holiday Cheer with your Family! SISD Maker Tuesday will be held at the SISD STEAM Lab 3301 El Paso Ave from 5-7pm. Join us for free food and lots of fun!

Tiger Football Playoff Info Is Here!

Congratulations to the Snyder Tigers!! Round one for the Tigers will take them to Plainview High School, Friday, November 16th at 7pm. The Tigers will take on the Dalhart Golden Wolves.
Playoff t-shirt orders can be made at the Embroidery Shop. Order by Tuesday, Nov. 13th to pick up on Thursday, Nov. 15th. Check out the design at

SHS Veteran's Day Assembly

Snyder High School will hold their annual Veteran's Day Assembly on Monday, November 12th at 11:30 in Worsham Auditorium. All area veterans are encouraged to attend. A lunch in the SHS student center will be provided for the honored guests immediately following the assembly.

SISD/ACE Lights On Afterschool

Join more than 8,000 communities and 1 million Americans in celebrating afterschool programs for this year's Lights On Afterschool! This nationwide event, organized by the Afterschool Alliance, calls attention to the importance of afterschool programs and the resources required to keep the lights on and the doors open. Snyder ISD is proud to be a Lights On Afterschool partner.

We will have booths, games, activities, snacks, and much more! Join us for our "Building Blocks for the Future" themed event at Snyder Primary Cafetorium/Gymnasium on Thursday, October 25th, 2018. Students may dress up as their career goal. Free admission.

SJHS Information & Feedback Session

All SISD parents and stakeholders are encouraged to attend the Information & Feedback Session at Snyder Junior High on Monday, Sept. 24th. The event will be held at the campus library and will begin at 6:00 pm.‚Äč
Information about the academic status of the campus will be presented as well as the description of the improvement plans.
